LANCE ZALESKI

I started my Law Enforcement career in 1999. I started my Special Operations Career in 2000 when I completed Basic SWAT School and in 2003 completed Advanced Tactics and Hostage Rescue Operations. I have been a certified firearms instructor since 2003 where I have instructed and coached thousands of people both civilian and law enforcement in multiple weapon platforms. I held team member, team leader and tactical commander positions during my career and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have been fortunate to learn from the best in the law enforcement and military communities and I want to pass that knowledge along. Understand that this is not just a business venture for me; it's my passion, it is what I was put on this earth to do; make warriors out of people. I want to see people succeed and become the bad ass defender they have always wanted to be. You will leave these classes with a sense of confidence and the desire to learn more. You will leave knowing that you have the ability to defend yourself and your loved ones under the direst of circumstances...what are you waiting for?

This is a 1-day, 8 hr. beginner level class. Topics will cover firearm handling and safety, parts of the pistol, ammunition, how to load magazines, how to load and charge your pistol. Also covered will be how to perform a function check, identify a phase 1 and phase 2 malfunction and how to perform an immediate action drill for the malfunction. We will cover steps of the draw, sight picture / sight alignment, trigger control, breath control, stance and recoil management. The second half of the course will be spent on the range, where you will put all these drill into live fire exercises. You will shoot courses of fire from the holster as well as the low-ready position. You will conduct target identification and other drills utilizing different size and style targets. You will leave this class feeling more confident in your pistol handling abilities and marksmanship.

This is NOT a beginner class

This is a 1-day; (8 hr.) class. The course will cover a firearm handling, safety and reloading refresher We will discuss "center mass" of the target presented to us.   You will conduct threat identification drills as well as the "shove and shoot" drill; point shooting and barricade shooting drills. You will also conduct courses of fire from the standing, kneeling, prone and sitting positions.  You will conduct combat reloads during courses of fire as well as immediate action drills following a weapon malfunction.   And last but not least you will conduct the NYS basic police officer weapons qualification. 

This is an intermediate skills course

This is a 1-day; (10 hr.) class. The course will build off of Combat Pistol, Level 1. It will begin with confirming fundamentals and the reinforcement of threat identification drills using shoot and don' shoot targets. You will conduct   " Body Armor" drills, shooting under stress drills, and an introduction to the "Combat Readiness" drill.  You will perform "Off angle" shooting techniques as well as shooting and moving courses of fire. You will continue barricade shooting techniques coupled with reloading under stress using a position of cover. And lastly you will conduct multiple target engagement drills, in an open area as well as from a position of cover. 

.   And last but not least you will conduct the NYS basic police officer weapons qualification. 

This is an advanced skills course

This is a 2-day; (12 hr.) class. This is a no B.S. Course, so bring your "A" game.

The course will build off of the combative drills, skills and shooting techniques covered in Combat Pistol Level 1 and Level 2. You will understand how all these shooting techniques can be applied to defend yourself and loved ones in real life situations, no matter where you are. You will be introduced to room clearing techniques and how these techniques can be applied to any location you need to defend. You will conduct move and shoot skills while identifying and engaging a threat or multiple threats.  You will be shooting on the move while identifying shoot and don't shoot targets while incorporating point shooting or body armor drill techniques. 

This is an advanced course, but it is a fun course. It will increase your situational awareness, hone your skills and build confidence in your abilities. You will leave this course with a piece of mind knowing you can handle the worst of situations that life can bring. You will leave this course with confidence and a sense of peace knowing you have what it takes to protect yourself and your loved ones.

PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

Private Individual training sessions are open to Valid pistol permit holders as well as credentialed law enforcement and military personnel. A 3-hour minimum session will be required for beginner shooters regardless of the weapon platform of choice. Validated and experienced shooters can schedule private training sessions by the hour.  Cost $60.00 per hour per person
